Extract key lines from large text files
This option is designed to extract specific lines from a text file prior to writing to an Excel sheet. Take the example below :
For this example we want to extract from the input file all lines that have HANDVEL. When we select the 'Extract key lines ...' option from the StripeX menu we get :
For this example everything is written to the same sheet by increasing row. This gives :
We could have extracted lines after the 'HANDVEL' flag if required by increasing the number of lines to extract. We cold also have written them by increasing column or each one on a separate sheet.
